DRG Corporate Building
Profile
A Corporate building designed on three floors with an area of 32,000 sq.ft.
Location
Located in Arulpuram, with the DRG Mahal Complex in the Tiruppur Palladam highway
Features
The facade design was to ground the building firmly within the context. Inspired by Tirupur’s multi-faceted business profile with textile exports, we incorporated individual cuboid spaces juxtaposed with one another to create a distinctive character. We also played with light and shadow by introducing vertical fin walls within the rectilinear form. The total area of the building is around 32000 sq. ft divided into three floors. The ground floor has two showroom spaces each of 4000 sq.ft with a central service core followed by the first and second floor with four office spaces each of about 2000 sq.ft opening out to a common corridor. The terrace has a garden restaurant with a Parasol roof with a curvilinear form separating the outdoor and indoor seating areas.

- A Corporate Office Building designed in three floors and about 32,000 Sq.Ft.
- The building is Located in Arulpuram within the DRG Mahal Complex.
- DRG Mahal, a well-known kalyana Mandapam in Tirupur. The Client Mr. Sampath Kumar intended to Construct a Corporate Office Building for rental purpose.
- The site abides by the Tirupur-Paladdam highway.
- Being a Corporate Office Building the emphasis on the facade design was crucial.
- The Concept of the Facade design was to ground the building firmly within the Context. Inspired by Tirupur’s Multi – Faceted nature in Business where the city thrives in textile export both International and Domestic. Hence the representation of individual cuboid spaces each juxtaposed from one and other creates a distinctive character and we played with light and shadow by introducing vertical Fin walls within the rectilinear form.
- The total area of the building is around 32000 Sq.Ft divided in three floors. The ground floor has two Showroom Space each of 4000 Sq.Ft with a central service core. Followed by the First and the Second floor with four office space each of about 2000 Sq.Ft, Opening out to a common corridor.
- We are engaged as Architectural, Structural Engineering, Interior Design and Landscape Design Consultants for this project.
- The Terrace floor caters to a Garden Restaurant with a Parasol Roof form and a Curvilinear form separating the Outdoor Seating with the Indoor Seating.
